During his time at MCA he used many different mediums but consentrated on using drawing pencils. Over the years he has perfected the use of graphite and clay on cold press board, striving to make his work appear photo realistic. He has now switched from using graphite to acrylic paint. Influenced by another local artist and in efforts to stretch himself, he has found a new love and appreciation of painting. He calls his style of painting "loose realism".
